Sap Finance Control Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, support, and enhance SAP FI and CO modules in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Work extensively on:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Work closely with ABAP and other technical teams to ensure successful implementation of functional requirements.
• Coordinate integration requirements between FI/CO and MM, SD, and PS modules.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and support SIT/UAT activities.
• Conduct user training and prepare functional documentation and process guides.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide regular status updates and effectively manage client expectations.
• Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP financial processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO).
• Experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementations, support, and enhancements.
• Strong configuration experience in:
• GL
• AP
• AR
• Asset Accounting
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• CO-PA
• Strong understanding of FI/CO integration with MM, SD, and PS.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Ability to prepare detailed functional specifications and work with technical/ABAP teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and business users.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Experience across multiple SAP implementation/support projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and relevant S/4HANA finance processes.
• Experience in process optimization and SAP Finance transformation.
• SAP FICO certification is an advantage.
