Sap Finance Control Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with around 5 years of experience to support and enhance financial processes within SAP. The candidate will work closely with finance teams and cross-functional departments to ensure efficient SAP FICO implementation, configuration, and support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to financial processes including:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting
• Controlling (CO)

1. Design, configure, and support SAP FICO modules in line with business requirements, financial policies, and industry best practices.
2. Perform system testing activities including:

• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

1. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO functional issues, coordinating with technical teams such as ABAP and Basis when necessary.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PP, and HR to ensure end-to-end business process integration.
3. Prepare functional specifications for:

• Custom developments
• Reports
• Interfaces
• Enhancements
• Workflows

1. Ensure data accuracy and integrity during:

• Data migration
• System integration
• Cutover activities

1. Conduct user training sessions and create documentation/training materials to support system adoption and standardization.
2. Provide SAP support during month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
3. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
4. Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO enhancements and SAP S/4HANA capabilities to support ongoing business transformation initiatives.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP FICO configuration and support
• Experience with financial accounting and controlling processes
• Understanding of integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR)
• Experience in UAT coordination and documentation
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Education: Degree in commerce, B.COM, M.COM, OR CA
