Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Test Consultant with strong expertise in Finance (FI), Controlling (CO) modules. The consultant will play a critical role in validating financial processes, reporting integrity, and cross-module integrations across SAP S/4HANA and connected business systems. The role focuses on functional testing, integration validation, and business process assurance, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and reliability of finance and revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and validate end-to-end financial processes across Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles.
- Design, document, and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases for Core Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Revenue Accounting (RAR) processes.
- Validate core SAP FICO functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
- Collaborate with Finance SMEs, functional consultants, and integration teams to ensure test coverage across FICO, SD, MM, and Project Systems (PS).
- Verify integration between FI and other modules, ensuring accurate posting of accounting entries and reconciliation of sub-ledgers.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data, validating key accounting scenarios, and assisting finance users during testing cycles.
- Identify and log defects in Jira (or similar tools), support issue triage, and retest resolved items.
- Validate financial reports, journal entries, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate with data migration and cutover teams to verify financial data integrity during release cycles.
- Provide test execution summaries, financial impact assessments, and test evidence for audit and compliance tracking.
