Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP FICO configuration, business process analysis, implementation, support, and integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Perform system configuration, testing, documentation, and end-user training.
- Support SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support projects.
- Analyze and resolve functional issues related to finance and controlling processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MM, SD, PP, and ABAP developers.
- Conduct integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting.
- Strong experience in SAP FI and CO configuration and support.
- Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
- Understanding of integration between SAP FICO and MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and working with technical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
- SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project and support projects.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects is preferred.
