SAP FICO Project manager

This role is where the person will support the Finance workstream, so FICO experience is a plus but not required (a strong PM with SAP implementation experience is more important than FICO experience). However, with that said, let's focus on someone with a FICO experience or background. 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP project manager to assist our customer in a global roll-out of SAP S/4HANA. This project manager will help drive and manage the Finance (SAP FICO) workstream. The ideal candidate will have an SAP FICO background as well as SAP project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an integrated project plan, including interdependencies across enabling workstreams and dependent projects

Plan and govern deliverables related to enabling the Finance workstream and third-party apps

Manage functional, system and user acceptance testing across the Finance workstreams

Identify and escalate critical issues in accordance with the governance structure

Manage budget, resource planning and tracking 

Manage and track project status, risks, actions, issues, and decision logs 

Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years SAP experience.

Proven experience as a project manager in SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementation/rollout projects.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and practices.

A strong understanding and background in the Record to Report (RTR) process and FICO functionality within SAP.

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in managing budgets, timelines, and resource planning.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
