Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Finance and Controlling processes
- Configure SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Controlling
- Support end-to-end financial processes such as Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, and Order to Cash
- Perform system enhancements, configuration changes, and issue resolutions
- Participate in full-cycle implementations, rollouts, and support projects
- Execute testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects and work with technical teams for development
- Ensure integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HCM
- Work with stakeholders on month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support global business teams and provide production support as needed
- Prepare training documents and conduct user training sessions
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide timely project updates
Skills Needed
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration
- In-depth understanding of GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders
- Good knowledge of integration with MM and SD modules
- Experience in tax configuration, foreign currency valuation, and financial reporting
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and work with ABAP teams
- Understanding of financial accounting processes, IFRS/GAAP principles, and month-end activities
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance is an added advantage
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
