About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead to drive a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation for a large-scale enterprise transformation program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules, deep understanding of finance business processes, and proven experience leading end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.

The candidate will work closely with Finance leadership, IT teams, implementation partners, and cross-functional business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Finance Implementation

• Lead Greenfield SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation from Design Build Deploy Hypercare
• Drive solution architecture and finance transformation initiatives
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
• Ensure alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives and finance best practices

Finance Process Design

Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance processes across:

Record-to-Report (R2R)

• General Ledger (GL)
• Financial Closing
• Group Reporting

Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Invoice Management

Order-to-Cash (O2C)

• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Credit Management

Asset Accounting

• FI-AA Configuration and Management

Controlling (CO)

• Cost Centre Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Centre Accounting (PCA)
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

SAP S/4HANA Innovations

Leverage and implement:

• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• Real-time Reporting & Analytics
• Embedded Fiori Applications
• Simplified Finance Processes in S/4HANA

Data Migration & Financial Data Model

• Define and manage data migration strategy from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA
• Validate:
• Master Data (GL, Vendors, Customers, Assets)
• Open Balances
• Historical Financial Data
• Ensure alignment with:
• MDG Frameworks
• Single Source of Truth (SSOT) initiatives
• Support data cleansing, reconciliation, and pre-go-live validation activities

Integration Management

Design and manage integration with:

• SAP MM (Procurement)
• SAP SD (Sales & Billing)
• SAP PP (Manufacturing)
• External systems such as Banking and Tax platforms

Ensure seamless financial postings and end-to-end business process integration across modules.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Act as the primary liaison between Finance leadership, IT teams, and implementation partners
• Manage:
• Functional Scope
• Change Requests
• Solution Validation
• Present solution design decisions, project updates, and progress reports to leadership forums
• Drive governance and risk mitigation activities throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong expertise in SAP FICO with SAP S/4HANA
• Hands-on experience in Greenfield S/4HANA implementations
• Strong knowledge of finance and controlling business processes
• Experience in SAP integration with MM, SD, PP modules
• Expertise in financial data migration and reconciliation
• Understanding of SAP best practices and enterprise transformation programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in leading teams and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders

Experience & Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of SAP FICO experience
• 2–3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (Greenfield preferred)
• Experience leading Finance workstreams in large transformation programs
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred
