Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP FICO Lead Consultant to drive end-to-end SAP Finance transformations, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to business growth initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership across implementation, rollout, and migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Delivery & Transformation
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and migration projects.
- Drive solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment of FI/CO modules.
- Manage finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Controlling.
- Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
- Lead data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.
- Provide expertise in S/4HANA Finance innovations and best practices.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor SAP consultants, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide strategic solutions.
- Manage client expectations and ensure successful project delivery.
- Support performance management and capability development within the team.
Business Development & Practice Building
- Contribute to SAP practice development, accelerators, and reusable assets.
- Support pre-sales activities, proposals, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen Altivate's SAP offerings.
- Stay updated on SAP roadmap and industry trends.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks and project dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and governance.
- Maintain compliance with internal and client-specific requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP FICO experience
- Minimum 2+ end-to-end implementation projects
- Strong experience in S/4HANA Finance
- Hands-on expertise in:
- GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
- Costing, CO-PA, Profit Center Accounting
- Banking and Financial Closing
- Experience in migration and rollout projects
- Strong knowledge of integration with MM and SD modules
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to lead large-scale transformation programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in or with KSA (Saudi Arabia) clients (VAT, localization)
- Industry experience in:
- Manufacturing
- Pharmaceutical
- Oil & Gas
- SAP S/4HANA certification (preferred)
- Experience in SAP TRM / FSCM / FM is an added advantage
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
- MBA / Professional certifications (CA, CPA, etc.) – Preferred
