Role Overview
As an SAP FICO HANA Consultant, you will serve as a key technical advisor responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing financial and controlling solutions within the S/4 HANA environment. You will work closely with cross-functional project teams and client stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP architectures. By ensuring seamless integration across modules and maintaining high system performance, you will directly influence the financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency of our clients global business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure SAP FI and CO modules to meet specific client business requirements, ensuring alignment with global financial standards.
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, managing the transition from legacy systems to modern cloud or on-premise environments.
- Execute complex data migrations and system integrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to ongoing business processes.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for existing SAP environments, resolving critical functional issues to maintain system uptime.
- Collaborate with business process owners to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the financial accounting and controlling domains.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications and documentation to guide technical teams and ensure clear communication of project deliverables.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP FICO configuration, with a deep understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
- Proven ability to manage Controlling processes, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing.
- Strong technical proficiency in S/4 HANA, specifically regarding the Universal Journal and the integration of FICO with other SAP modules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within diverse, high-performing teams in a professional office environment in Bangalore.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering successful SAP projects over the last 4 to 5 years.
