Job title: Functional Consultant Application Maintenance and Support
Experience: 6-10 Years
Location: Bangalore
Required Qualifications:
- Should possess more than 7+ Years of experience in SAP FICO Module
- Should have worked extensively on SAP FICO Application Support
- Very good academic background
- Very good communication skills who can interact with client and other partners to effectively understand the problem and provide solutions.
- Should possess cross functional skills to determine the root of the issue.

- Core Financial and Controlling processes
- Flexible Workflow for release strategy
- Master Data Cost Center, Profit Center
- Account Payables and Account Receivables
- Product costing, profitability analysis
- Should be very good on Financial Closures (MEC, QEC & YEC)
- Good knowledge on accounting principles and standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Offshore Consultant responsible for handling L2 and L3 Incidents
- Expected to investigate incidents and Problem tickets which is assigned to him/her.
- Provide resolution to the incidents / problem tickets as per the Service Levels defined and restore business continuity as quick as possible.
- Provide inputs and work closely with technical consultants for investigating issues and to prepare technical specifications.
- Provide status update on all the tickets to service delivery manager
- Responsible for keeping SLAs intact
- Periodically update the issue log with the right information in the ticketing tool for the incidents / problem management tickets.
- Timely escalation on the ticket to third party and vendor, take end to end ownership until the issue is completely resolved.
- Periodically monitor background job and take corrective action in case of failure
- Recommend industry best practices, implement service improvement plans and ultimately bring application stability
- Prepare and maintain all documentation required for the engagement
- Cooperate with audit team, implement recommendations received from Audit team
- Connect with Business Users team periodically to update the status of the incidents, problem tickets and system changes.
- Identify and apply continuous improvement processes for operational efficiencies, drive process integration, and standardization.
