Job Title: SAP FICO Data Migration Consultant (S/4HANA)
Experience: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities
- Migration Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with business process owners and functional leads to define data requirements, extraction logic, and validation criteria
- Develop and execute detailed data cutover plans (Mock cycles, Dry Runs, Production Cutover)
- Align with global data migration strategy across multiple country rollouts
- ETL Execution (Extract, Transform, Load)
- Manage extraction of master and transactional data from SAP ECC and non-SAP systems
- Lead data cleansing and transformation activities aligned with S/4HANA data model
- Execute data loads using SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC), LTMOM, and SAP Data Services (BODS)
- Support Business Partner (CVI) conversion and New Asset Accounting migration
- Data Validation & Reconciliation
- Perform pre-load and post-load validation to ensure data accuracy
- Conduct financial reconciliations (Trial Balance, sub-ledger vs GL)
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data load issues in collaboration with ABAP/technical teams
- Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with global finance teams to address localization requirements (tax, COA, banking formats)
- Facilitate UAT cycles and obtain business sign-offs for migrated data
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Functional Expertise- 7+ years of experience in SAP FICO
- Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations and 2 data migration projects
- Strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI):
- General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting
- Strong expertise in Controlling (CO):
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
S/4HANA Knowledge- Hands-on experience with:
- Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- New Asset Accounting
- Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI) / Business Partner
Technical / Migration Expertise- Strong experience with:
- SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC)
- LTMOM (Migration Object Modeler)
- Experience with:
- SAP Data Services (BODS) or LSMW
- Strong SQL knowledge or ability to write functional specs for ABAP developments
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data validation
Data Migration Scope- Experience handling:
- Master Data: GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Bank Master, Fixed Assets, Business Partners
- Transactional Data: GL balances, AP/AR open items, Fixed Asset balances, Cost object balances
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Databricks
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or Data Migration
- Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
- Exposure to SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation Replication)
- Experience working in multi-currency and multi-GAAP environments (IFRS, US GAAP, Local GAAP)
