Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in
SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting, particularly
Accounts Receivable (AR). The role involves end-to-end implementation, configuration, business process alignment, and ongoing system support within SAP FI modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an SAP FICO functional consultant with experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including:
- Accounts Receivable (Primary)
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Fixed Assets
- Design, implement, and optimize financial accounting and controlling processes in SAP.
- Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate requirements into SAP configurations.
- Participate in blueprinting, design, configuration, and customization phases of SAP transformation programs.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements using SAP FICO solutions.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation including functional design documents, test cases, and test results.
- Execute and support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing.
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues raised by business users.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Assist in investigating, analyzing, and resolving SAP FI-related issues.
- Mentor junior consultants and act as a subject matter expert where required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of SAP consulting experience, with strong exposure to SAP FICO on S/4HANA.
- Deep functional expertise in Accounts Receivable.
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and SAP FI configuration.
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, design, and implementation phases.
- Experience working on small to medium-sized SAP projects.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and defect management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- FI integration with SD (Sales and Distribution).
- Knowledge of Intercompany Accounting.
- Team handling or project coordination experience.
- Exposure to Agile project methodologies.
- Formal SAP training or SAP certification.

- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred: Master's Degree
