Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to work on S/4HANA enhancement and implementation projects, with a strong focus on Record-to-Report (RTR) processes and BW/BOBJ financial reporting integration. This role plays a key part in financial transformation initiatives, ensuring robust configuration, seamless module integration, and accurate financial reporting.
You will collaborate closely with business users, BW/BOBJ teams, and technical developers to configure, enhance, and support SAP FICO solutions that drive operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
SAP FICO Configuration S/4HANA :
Configure SAP FI & CO modules in S/4HANA, including :
- General Ledger (New GL, document types, posting keys)
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (asset master, depreciation areas)
- Bank Accounting and reconciliation
- Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting
- Product Costing and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
Implement and support Record-to-Report (RTR) processes with focus on AP/FIN.
Taxation & Compliance
Configure tax on sales and purchases :
- GST, VAT, withholding tax
Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance in financial postings and reports.
BW/BOBJ & Reporting Integration
Work closely with BW/BOBJ teams to support financial reporting requirements.
Build and support custom extractors for FI/CO data.
Ensure accurate data flow between S/4HANA and BW/BOBJ.
Support report validation and reconciliation between SAP and BW outputs.
Integration & Enhancements
Integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, and CO modules.
Support Custom Developments And Enhancements
- User exits, enhancements, and custom ABAP programs
Provide functional input for technical design and development.
Testing, Documentation & Support
Prepare Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and configuration documents.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Provide post-implementation support, issue analysis, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Experience & Core Requirements :
Have 5 to 7 years of total experience, with 46 years in SAP FICO.
Possess SAP enhancement and/or implementation project experience (mandatory).
Have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially RTR and AP/FIN.
Are comfortable working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
