SAP FICO Consultant

Role Overview

• Lead and manage SAP S/4 HANA projects including Cloud or On-Prem implementations and migrations.
• Act as a functional consultant to bridge business requirements with SAP system capabilities.
• Participate in workshops with clients for fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and module demonstrations.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members on support and implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with customers to demonstrate module functionality and SAP best practices.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and prepare functional design specifications in collaboration with Solution Architects.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design SAP solutions.
• Configure and implement SAP modules including:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• General Ledger Accounting (GL)
• Controlling (CO), COPA, Project System (PS)
• MM/SD integration with FI, Cash and Banking module
• Prepare functional specification documents and coordinate with ABAP developers for enhancements.
• Support industry-specific solutions, localization requirements (VAT/GST), e-invoicing, SAC, Group Reporting, Treasury module.
• Assist in testing, issue resolution, and deployment of SAP S/4 HANA solutions.
• Collaborate with international teams if required.

Technical Skills & Expertise

• SAP S/4 HANA (Cloud or On-Prem)
• SAP FI/CO modules (AP, AR, GL, AA, COPA, PS, Cash & Banking)
• MM/SD integration with FI
• SAP localization: VAT/GST, e-invoicing
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Group Reporting, Treasury module
• Functional specification documentation
• Exposure to ABAP (desirable)

Preferred / Nice to Have

• International project experience
• SAP S/4 HANA Certification
• Prior experience in large-scale support projects
• Knowledge of industry-specific solutions
