SAP FICO Consultant

Job Purpose:

The individual will liaise with internal business teams and partners to facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FICO. The core responsibilities include stabilizing recently implemented SAP HANA, providing user support, collaborating with leadership, and acting as a single point of contact for SAP FICO queries and activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Stabilize recently implemented SAP S/4 HANA system and provide ongoing support.
• Act as a single point of contact for SAP FICO-related queries and activities.
• Lead workshops with customers to demonstrate module functionality and best practices, including fit-gap analysis or blueprint preparation.
• Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and design SAP solutions.
• Formulate and create functional specification documentation in collaboration with Solution Architects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet client needs.
• Support modules like Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL), COPA, Project System, Controlling (CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-PA, CO-OCA), and MM/SD integration with FI.
• Contribute to SAP FICO implementation projects from planning to go-live, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
• Support SAC, Group Reporting, Treasury modules, industry-specific solutions, VAT/GST reporting, and e-invoicing.
• Provide guidance on ABAP exposure when necessary.

Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in FI & CO modules on SAP HANA environment.
• Strong skills in Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
• Performed FI testing across FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-AA, FI-GL, New GL, and CO modules.
• Experienced in system configuration and S/4 HANA migration projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quick learning abilities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in team-oriented environments.
• Well-developed organizational and leadership skills.
• International project experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4 HANA Certification.
• Experience with multiple end-to-end implementations of S/4 HANA Cloud/On-Prem.
• Exposure to ABAP.
