Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP FI Consultant to support non-core FI areas beyond AR/AP/GL, including Asset Accounting (AA), Banking, Tax, Cost Elements, and General FI Reporting. The role supports financial reporting redesign as part of the S/4HANA rollout for Singapore and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing SAP ECC FI reports and map them to S/4HANA financial structures.
- Prepare functional specifications for FI reports, data-mapping layouts, and GDL integrations.
- Support FIT/GAP analysis and design To-Be processes across extended FI modules.
- Validate end-to-end financial data flows including AA, Banking & Cash Management, Cost Center Accounting, and Tax logic.
- Support unit testing and integration testing for cross-FI and cross-module reporting.
- Collaborate with BI and Data teams to ensure accurate and consistent downstream reporting.
- Ensure reporting outputs align with global templates and reporting governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI, covering multiple FI submodules (AA, Banking, Tax, Cost Accounting, etc.).
- Strong experience across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Proven expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, and Functional Specifications.
- Solid understanding of S/4HANA FI data structures, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
- Experience in Brownfield S/4HANA migration projects.
- Strong analytical skills with effective stakeholder communication.
