Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP FICO Consultant with 68 years of hands-on experience in S/4HANA configuration. The ideal candidate will focus primarily on configuration activities across Finance and Controlling, collaborate with BPX functional consultants, and support end-to-end S/4 implementation from offshore. Strong communication in English and prior exposure to CPG/FMCG processes are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute SAP FICO configuration in S/4HANA (FI & CO components) including GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CO-PA, CCA, PCA, and Product Costing as applicable.
- Participate in requirement analysis, fit-gap workshops, and solution design with BPX/functional teams.
- Prepare and maintain configuration documentation, functional specs, test scripts, and training materials.
- Contribute to data migration (mapping, validation) and cutover activities.
- Provide hypercare support post go-live, ensuring stability of finance processes and controls.
- Adhere to change management, release governance, and quality standards in an offshore delivery model.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 68 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with S/4HANA.
- Strong configuration expertise across FI/CO sub-modules; ability to translate business requirements into system design.
- Experience in FMCG/CPG industry processes (e.g., trade promotions, pricing impacts, cost of goods sold, margin reporting) preferred.
- Proficiency in English with clear documentation and stakeholder communication; limited client-facing exposure is acceptable.
- Experience in offshore delivery, collaborating with functional consultants and global teams.
- Hands-on in testing, defect management, and release cycles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Commerce/Finance or equivalent; SAP certifications are a plus.
