We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with expertise in FICO Blaze implementation and support. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) module configuration, integration, and customization to meet business requirements in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO modules including Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
- Understand business processes related to finance and controlling and translate them into SAP solutions using FICO Blaze.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and Asset Accounting.
- Perform gap analysis and prepare detailed functional specifications for customizations and enhancements.
- Support the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), deployment, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO modules.
- Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of system and user documentation.
- Participate in SAP upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and implement solutions accordingly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO module.
- Proven experience with FICO Blaze or similar financial process automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting processes, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and controlling.
- Experience in configuration of SAP FI sub-modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting.
- Knowledge of SAP CO sub-modules: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis.
- Experience with SAP integration points with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
- Ability to analyze and document business processes and prepare functional specs.
- Experience in troubleshooting, support, and user training.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP implementation lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Migration activities.
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps related to finance.
- Familiarity with SAP BI/BW for financial reporting.
- Certifications in SAP FICO or related areas.
- Exposure to SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) modules.
