Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You work within dynamic environments, applying modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration and continuous enhancement of software functionalities are key aspects of your role, enabling organizations to achieve their operational goals effectively.We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting, with a strong background in finance and controlling processes. You will play a key role in implementing and optimizing SAP FICO solutions, ensuring they meet the business needs and industry standards.
Responsibilities

- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to improve software performance and maintainability.
- - Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement in finance and controlling (FICO) modules.
- Implement SAP FICO solutions that meet the needs of the business and comply with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP FICO modules.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP FICO functionalities.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Stay updated with SAP FICO best practices and enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and cost accounting principles within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP CO modules to align with business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP CO and other SAP modules or external systems.
- - Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing SAP CO functionalities to enhance system efficiency.10-20 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting or related roles.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Proficient in SAP FICO modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and CO.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Relevant SAP certification in FICO is preferred.
Additional Information:
- - The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in SAP CO Management Accounting.
