SAP FICO Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analyst professional to join our Finance to Manage Support team. This role will provide functional production support for SAP Finance and Controlling processes across global business units (Americas, EMEA, and APAC) in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, including SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN) and integration from legacy ERP systems. The ideal candidate has strong SAP FICO expertise, proven incident/problem management capability, and experience working in a global support model.

Key Responsibilities

. Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP Finance (FI/CO) in a global, multi-time-zone environment.

. Support end-to-end finance processes including: GL, cFIN integration, AP, AR, Taxes, Credit Management, Cash Application, EBS, Bank/treasury interfaces, integration with Vertex, Fixed Assets, Controlling, Cost & Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, Month end Closing and integration with SD/MM/PP modules.

. Support SAP Central Finance (CFIN) operations, including monitoring and resolution of replication/posting issues, reconciliation support, and coordination with technical teams for data/integration defects.

. Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and problem management, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs.

. Partner with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS, integration/middleware) to resolve defects related to interfaces, enhancements, and background jobs.

. Assist with change requests, minor enhancements, testing/validation, and deployment support (including documentation and knowledge transfer).

. Create and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles identify recurring issues and drive preventive actions.

. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, provide status updates, and ensure high-quality customer experience.

. Participate in on-call/extended coverage as required to support Americas/EMEA/APAC operations.

Required Qualifications / Experience

. 5 years of hands-on SAP support experience in SAP FICO (FI and CO) in a production environment.

. Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance processes.

. Practical experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN) (monitoring, error handling, reconciliations, and support activities).

. Strong understanding of finance process flows and cross-functional integration (e.g., MM/SD touchpoints).

. Proven experience in ITIL-based support processes (Incident/Problem/Change) and working with ticketing tools.

. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

. Ability to work effectively in a global support model from India with overlapping hours for multiple regions.

Preferred Qualifications

. Exposure to CFIN-related integration concepts/tools (e.g., data replication/monitoring concepts finance reconciliation practices).

. Experience with S/4HANA Finance transformations or migration projects.

. Knowledge of reporting and close processes in global enterprises.

. Prior experience supporting multiple legal entities, currencies, and tax/regulatory environments.
