Role Summary

SAP FI Lead with 12–15 years of SAP consulting experience to lead end-to-end SAP Finance implementations, S/4HANA transformation programmes, rollouts engagements. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Financial Accounting, strong business process knowledge, leadership capabilities, and extensive client-facing experience.

The SAP FI Lead will be responsible for driving solution design, managing delivery teams, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation of finance processes aligned with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead SAP FI solution design workshops and requirement gathering sessions.

• Design and configure SAP FI components including:

o General Ledger (GL)

o Accounts Payable (AP)

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

o Asset Accounting (AA)

o Bank Accounting

o Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)

o New GL and Universal Journal

• Drive SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation initiatives and Rollouts.

Project Delivery

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, migration projects.

• Prepare business blueprints, functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.

• Manage SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hyper-care activities.

• Provide effort estimation and solution proposals during presales and bid support.

Integration Management

• Work closely with:

o SAP CO

o SAP MM

o SAP SD

o SAP Treasury

o SAP FSCM

o SAP BTP Integration teams

• Ensure seamless integration across finance and logistics processes.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for client finance leadership.

• Facilitate workshops with CFOs, Finance Controllers, and Process Owners.

• Present solution recommendations, risks, and mitigation plans.

• Manage expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor SAP FI consultants across project phases.

• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and capability development programmes.

• Review deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

Governance & Support

• Monitor project health, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Ensure SLA compliance in AMS engagements.

• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
