We are looking for an experienced SAP FI JVA Consultant to join our team for an exciting project with IBM and the end client, Shell.

Role: SAP FI JVA Consultant

• Location: PAN India
• Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience
• Client:IBM
• End Client: Shell
• Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and activate the SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) module in ECC or S/4HANA.
• Configure JVA master data, including Partners, JOAs/JVs, Equity Types, Recovery Indicators, Billing Indicators, and Cost Object Types for operated and non-operated scenarios.
• Integrate SAP JVA with SAP FI, CO, MM, PS, and Asset Management, ensuring accurate venture-related postings.
• Configure and support end-to-end SAP JVA processes, including:
• Cutbacks
• Equity Adjustments
• Billing
• Bank Switching
• Netting
• Cash Calls
• Allocations and related postings
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration projects, leveraging Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and New GL–JVA integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, Legal, Asset Management, MM, and PS to ensure seamless process integration.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements.
• Participate across the complete project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, documentation, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, solution blueprints, and end-user training materials.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 6+ years of SAP FI experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA).
• Deep understanding of SAP JVA business processes and integration with FI, CO, MM, PS, and Asset Management.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Cutback Processing
• Joint Venture Billing
• Equity Adjustments
• Cash Calls
• Allocations
• Netting
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, including:
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• Asset Accounting changes
• New GL–JVA integration
• Strong understanding of SAP FI/JVA configuration and financial postings.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or a related discipline.
• Certification: SAP JVA certification is preferred.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the Oil & Gas / Energy industry or other industries operating through joint ventures.
• Familiarity with PRA (Production Revenue Accounting).
• Experience with third-party integrations related to JVA processes.
• Experience with automation, governance frameworks, and financial controls implementation.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA analytics and planning tools, including BPC and CDS Views.
