SAP FI Functional Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end SAP FI processes including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting
- Bank Accounting
- Taxation
- Closing & Reporting
- Configure and maintain SAP FI settings as per business requirements.
- Handle SAP master data governance related to finance functions.
- Ensure integration of SAP FI with MM, SD, PP, HR, and CO modules.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Monitor and resolve SAP FI transactional and process issues.
Business & Process Excellence
- Analyze finance workflows and recommend automation and process improvements.
- Support digital transformation and ERP enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance within SAP processes.
- Participate in SOP development and process standardization.
Reporting & Compliance
- Generate MIS, financial reports, reconciliation reports, and audit-related reports.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure GST, TDS, IFRS/IND-AS, and other regulatory requirements are mapped correctly in SAP.
- Coordinate with auditors, finance teams, and business stakeholders.
User Support & Training
- Provide functional support to finance users across locations/plants.
- Conduct user training sessions and prepare process documentation/user manuals.
- Resolve tickets and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
Project & Change Management
- Participate in SAP implementation, migration, rollouts, upgrades, and testing activities.
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) for developments and enhancements.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and go-live activities.
- Work with cross-functional and global teams for business alignment.
