SAP FI Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant with strong expertise in SAP FI configuration and implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, preferably with global implementation projects, and should be capable of independently designing and delivering end-to-end FI processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure the SAP FI module based on business requirements.
• Work on end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, including greenfield and brownfield implementations.
• Translate business requirements into Functional Specification (FS) documents.
• Understand functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for development.
• Prepare impact analysis and support technical specification activities.
• Configure SAP FI processes and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Understand and manage integration with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve functional defects and production issues.
• Perform and support SIT, regression testing, and functional testing.
• Assess existing ECC custom objects for S/4HANA compatibility and determine required changes.
• Independently design and support end-to-end FI processes in an S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience as an SAP FI Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration and implementation.
• Proven experience in at least one end-to-end global SAP implementation project.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and differences between ECC and S/4HANA.
• Experience with S/4HANA greenfield and/or brownfield implementations.
• Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules such as CO, MM, SD, and other relevant modules.
• Ability to independently analyse business requirements and design SAP FI solutions.
• Experience in functional testing, SIT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Strong business domain knowledge in Finance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• SAP S/4HANA FI certification is preferred.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates who are currently working on SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and have strong hands-on FI configuration experience will be preferred
