Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM / WM Consultant to support process and solution consulting across enterprise logistics environments. The role involves end-to-end process design, system customization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, standardized SAP solutions using a Fit-to-Standard approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process and solution consulting in SAP EWM and WM
- Design, analyze, and optimize end-to-end warehouse processes
- Perform system customizing in SAP EWM / WM aligned with business requirements
- Drive process definition and standardization across templates and rollouts
- Prepare functional specifications and support QA for ABAP developments
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery
- Apply Fit-to-Standard methodology for solution design and implementation
- Collaborate in Agile project environments (Scrum / Sprint-based delivery)
- Provide integrated consulting with related SAP modules:
- SD (Sales & Distribution)
- MM (Materials Management)
- PP (Production Planning)
- SAP DM (Digital Manufacturing), where applicable
- Manage and coordinate the SAP EWM development team
- Support and coordinate test management activities (unit, integration, UAT)
- Coordinate template implementation and support global / regional rollouts
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM and/or SAP WM
- Solid expertise in process design, customization, and solution consulting
- Experience creating functional specifications and working with ABAP teams
- Good understanding of logistics integration with SD, MM, PP modules
- Experience working in Agile project setups
- Exposure to template-based implementations and rollouts
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate across business and technical stakeholders
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM
- Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM)
- Prior experience in global rollout projects
