SAP EWM Technical Consultant

Role Description:

• Act as a technical expert in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) with a strong ABAP background.
• Design, develop, and enhance custom solutions in SAP EWM using ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Work on key EWM areas such as RF Screens, Post Processing Framework (PPF), enhancements, and CIF.
• Develop and implement enhancements in Warehouse Monitor and handle EWM-specific BADIs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand the EWM process flows and map technical solutions accordingly.
• Create and manage SAP SmartForms and Adobe Forms for output processing.
• Build and maintain interfaces using RFC, ALE, IDoc, and Web Services for seamless integration.
• Optional: Develop OData services using SAP NetWeaver Gateway and RESTful technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance EWM-specific functionalities using ABAP and related technologies.
• Implement RF screen customizations and enhancements.
• Work on CIF enhancements and EEWB-related developments.
• Customize Warehouse Monitor and apply enhancements as per business needs.
• Build and test interfaces using various integration techniques.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technical delivery.

Qualifications:

• 58 years of SAP ABAP experience, with a minimum of 3 years in SAP EWM technical development.
• Strong understanding of EWM process flow and related technical components.
• Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented ABAP and Internet Transaction Server (ITS) technologies.
• Proficient in developing EWM-specific features such as RF screens, PPF, and Monitor enhancements.
• Experience with SAP interface technologies (RFC, ALE, IDoc, Web Services).
• Solid experience in SMARTFORMS and Adobe Forms.
• Nice to have experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway, OData services, and REST APIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
