Role: SAP EWM Functional Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Customize SAP EWM modules to support warehouse processes (inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, cross-docking, RF frameworks).
- Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, TM) and external systems (e.g., 3PL platforms, automation tools).
- Analyze existing warehouse operations and recommend SAP EWM-driven improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Design solutions for complex scenarios (e.g., labor management, yard logistics, slotting, wave planning).
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Conduct workshops to gather needs and demonstrate solution capabilities.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions for super-users and warehouse staff.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and integration points.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GxP, OSHA) and SAP best practices.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication for SAP EWM projects.
- Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-implementation hypercare.
Basic Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: 6+ years of hands-on SAP EWM configuration and implementation experience
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in embedded EWM (SAP S/4HANA) and/or decentralized EWM.
- Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of warehouse processes (VAS, RFID, handling unit management) and integration with mobile devices (RF guns, SAP Fiori).
