Position Description
We are seeking a highly skilled
SAP EWM Functional Consultant to support warehouse operations and outbound logistics initiatives. The role involves implementing, customizing, and optimizing
SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions across large distribution centers. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of warehouse processes with SAP systems, driving operational efficiency and process innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Consultation & Requirement Gathering
- Engage with business users and stakeholders to understand warehouse processes and operational requirements
- Analyze and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Provide expert guidance on SAP EWM best practices and standard functionalities
System Configuration
- Configure SAP EWM components including warehouse structure, inbound/outbound processes, goods movement, inventory management, and handling unit management
- Maintain and configure EWM master data such as storage types, sections, and bin structures
- Configure integration between EWM, Warehouse Management (WM), and Transportation Management (TM)
Implementation & Integration
- Lead or support SAP EWM implementations from design through go-live and post-go-live phases
- Integrate EWM with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and WM, along with third-party systems
- Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
End User Training & Support
- Deliver end-user training, documentation, and process walkthroughs
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve EWM-related issues
- Support system enhancements and ensure effective knowledge transfer
Process Optimization
- Analyze existing warehouse workflows and identify optimization opportunities
- Implement EWM-driven improvements such as wave management, task interleaving, and automation solutions
- Support warehouse control and process efficiency initiatives
Skills Required

Skills Preferred
Experience Required
- 46 years of experience as a SAP EWM / SAP WM Functional Consultant
- Hands-on experience with SAP EWM implementations
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and optimization processes
- Integration experience with SAP MM, SD, PP, and WM modules
