SAP EWM Functional Consultant

SAP EWM Functional Consultant:

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes and configurations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing, supporting, and enhancing 

SAP EWM solutions for warehouse and logistics operations. 

The consultant will work closely with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to analyze requirements, provide functional solutions, and ensure smooth system operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

∙Gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse and logistics processes. 

∙Configure and support SAP EWM functionalities based on business needs. 

∙Work on inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory management processes. 

∙Support integration between SAP EWM and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and TM. 

∙Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements. 

∙Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and interfaces. 

∙Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). 

∙Provide production support and resolve functional issues within SLA timelines. 

∙Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and upgrade projects. 

∙Create user documentation and conduct end-user training sessions. 

Required Skills 

SAP EWM Functional Expertise 

∙Strong experience in SAP EWM configuration and support

∙Hands-on experience in:  

oInbound Processing 

oOutbound Processing 

oPutaway Strategies 

oPicking & Packing 

oRF Framework 

oPhysical Inventory 

oSlotting & Rearrangement 

oWave Management 

oYard Management (preferred) 

Integration Knowledge 

∙Integration with:  

oSAP MM 

oSAP SD 

oSAP PP 

oSAP TM 

oSAP QM (good to have) 

Technical & Functional Skills 

∙Ability to prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSD) 

∙Knowledge of IDocs, interfaces, and enhancement concepts 

∙Understanding of SAP S/4HANA EWM processes 

∙Debugging knowledge is an added advantage
