Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP EWM Functional Consultant to act as a
Process Solution Expert. The role involves working closely with plant users, supporting SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, and post-go-live activities while delivering effective warehouse process solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Process & Solution Ownership
- Act as a process expert in designing SAP project process templates
- Translate business requirements into effective SAP EWM solutions
- Conduct gap analysis and identify new business needs
- Collaborate with process owners to design and implement solutions
User & Project Support- Support Plant Key Users and End Users during:
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- UAT
- Provide support for data migration (test and production)
- Deliver training sessions to key users
- Provide hypercare support after go-live
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects during testing and post-go-live
Implementation & Rollout
- Participate in end-to-end implementations and template rollouts
- Support post-go-live stabilization and full-time support activities
Must-Have Skill Set
SAP EWM Experience
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP EWM implementations
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM
- At least 1 year experience in S/4HANA Embedded EWM
- Experience in SAP EWM 9.5
Support & Rollouts
- Minimum 2 projects in post-go-live or support roles
- Experience with template rollout methodologies
Integration & Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of EWMERP integration setup and configuration
- Hands-on experience with IDOCs, CIF, and RFC (setup and troubleshooting)
- Ability to prepare Functional Specifications for EWM developments
Process Expertise
Strong in
at least one of the following, with working knowledge of others:
- Inbound Processes
- Outbound Processes
- Warehousing/Internal Movements
- Packaging
(Strong = Able to explain business scenarios, configuration, and solution design)
Advanced Process Knowledge
- Understanding of process variants across business scenarios
- Knowledge of production supply and replenishment integration with EWM
Industry Experience
- Minimum 2 years of EWM experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industries
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written English)
- Ability to independently analyze and resolve issues
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
Mobility
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments (up to 4 weeks, domestic/international)
Nice-to-Have Skill Set- Experience with Value Added Services (VAS)
- Exposure to Automated Warehouse processes
- Knowledge of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)
- SAP Certifications:
- SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentralized)
- SAP WM (optional)
