SAP EWM Functional consultant

We are looking for a mid senior EWM Functional consultant.

Role Type: Contract for 6 months, extended to 24 months based on performance

Location: Remote

End client: EY GDS

Independently capture, analyze, and challenge business requirements in close collaboration with business stakeholders and process owners

Design end‑to‑end SAP EWM solutions, aligned with best practices and customer‑specific needs

Create functional specifications (FSDs) and support technical teams during development and implementation

Perform SAP EWM customizing across relevant warehouse and production processes

Execute and document Functional Unit Tests and support integration and user acceptance testing

Actively support production integration scenarios with SAP EWM, ensuring stable and efficient operations

Design and implement solutions for:

EWM‑managed Production Supply Areas (PSA)

Production staging, replenishment processes, consumption and GR from production

Tank management and bulk material handling

Support cutover, go‑live, and hypercare phases

Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior consultants and customer teams

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Functional SAP EWM Consultant

Strong experience in independent requirement gathering and solution design

Proven expertise in:

SAP EWM customizing and configuration

Writing clear and structured functional specifications

Functional and integration testing

Solid practical experience with:

Production integration with SAP EWM

EWM‑managed PSAs

Production staging, supply processes, consumption and GR from production

Tank and bulk material management

Good understanding of SAP logistics and production processes (MM, PP, and integration points)
