Job Description SAP S/4HANA EWM Consultant Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in
SAP S/4HANA EWM configuration and warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will have 45 years of SAP experience and should have participated in at least one
full-cycle SAP EWM implementation.
The consultant will be responsible for
analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP EWM solutions, supporting system integration, and ensuring successful deployment of warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities SAP EWM Implementation & Configuration
- Configure and support SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation activities, including:
- Fit-gap analysis
- Warehouse layout configuration
- System configuration and customization
- Functional design documentation
- Testing and validation
- User training
- Data migration / stock data cutover
- Go-live support and hypercare
Functional Analysis & Documentation
- Conduct business requirement analysis and translate them into SAP EWM functional solutions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation including:
- Functional Specifications
- Test Plans and Test Cases
- Configuration Documents
- Process Flow Documentation
Integration & Process Optimization
- Support EWMERP integration using Core Interface (CIF) and other integration methods.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between warehouse management and other SAP modules.
Warehouse Process Configuration
Configure And Support The Following EWM Warehouse Management Functionalities
- Warehouse structure and master data configuration
- Packing and Value Added Services (VAS) processes
- Quality Inspection integration
- Physical Inventory processes
- Slotting and rearrangement
- Post Processing Framework (PPF)
- Output configuration
- Dock and Yard related configurations
Warehouse Operations Support
- Configure and support warehouse operational processes including:
- Direct Goods Receipt
- Deconsolidation processes
- Goods Issue via Stock Transfer Orders (STO)
- Putaway and Picking strategies
- Kitting processes
Mobility & Automation
- Implement and support Radio Frequency (RF) / Mobile Data Entry functionalities for warehouse operations.
Inventory & Handling Units
- Manage and configure Handling Unit Management and Batch Management processes within EWM.
Testing & Deployment
- Support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for EWM solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-go-live support.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) configuration
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA
- Knowledge of EWMERP integration via CIF
- Expertise in warehouse processes, packing, slotting, and physical inventory
- Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) warehouse solutions
- Knowledge of Handling Unit Management and Batch Management
Experience Requirements
- 56 years of overall SAP experience,relevant should be 4yrs
- Hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration
- Participation in at least one full-cycle SAP EWM implementation
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience in end-to-end SAP project lifecycle
