Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP EWM Consultant with strong expertise in
SAP S/4HANA environments (Private & Public Cloud). The ideal candidate will have hands-on implementation experience, deep knowledge of warehouse and logistics execution processes, and the ability to deliver scalable and optimized EWM solutions.
This role involves close collaboration with business users, cross-functional teams, and technical stakeholders to implement and support end-to-end warehouse management solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support end-to-end SAP EWM implementations on SAP S/4HANA
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into SAP EWM solutions
- Configure and optimize SAP EWM processes including:
- Inbound & Outbound Processing
- Goods Receipt & Goods Issue
- Putaway & Picking Strategies
- Warehouse Structure (Storage Types, Sections, Bins)
- Packing, Shipping, and Physical Inventory
- Support integration with SAP SD, MM, and TM modules
- Work with S/4HANA Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard methodology
- Use SAP Fiori apps for monitoring and warehouse execution
- Support data migration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), cutover, and go-live
- Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, RF developments, and interfaces
- Provide post go-live support and continuous improvement
- Prepare functional documentation, specifications, and end-user training
- Provide extended or weekend support during critical system activities when required
Must-Have Skills- 68 years of SAP EWM functional consulting experience
- Hands-on experience in minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations
- Strong working experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM (Embedded or Decentralized)
- Experience in Private Cloud and/or Public Cloud deployments
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics execution processes
- Experience configuring:
- Inbound & Outbound processes
- Putaway & Picking
- Warehouse structure setup
- Physical Inventory
- Integration knowledge with SAP SD, MM, and TM
- Experience in testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and go-live support
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications
- Ability to work on both Implementation and Support projects
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP S/4HANA EWM Certification
- Experience with Embedded EWM and Decentralized EWM landscapes
- Exposure to Yard Management, Automation, or MFS (Material Flow System)
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
- Experience in global or multi-country warehouse operations
- Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Valuation processes
