Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with strong expertise in WM to EWM migration and end-to-end EWM implementations. The candidate should have deep functional knowledge of SAP EWM (Embedded and Extended) and the ability to design, configure, and deliver complex warehouse business scenarios. This role involves leading EWM transformation and rollout projects, working closely with business stakeholders, and driving global standard solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP EWM implementation and rollout projects, including WM to EWM migration
- Own end-to-end EWM solution delivery from Blueprint, Requirement Gathering, Design, Configuration to Go-Live
- Design and configure warehouse business scenarios using standard EWM functionalities
- Perform data migration from WM to EWM and set up WMEWM interfaces (CIF / RIF)
- Act as a key functional lead in client interactions and coordination with business stakeholders
- Prepare functional artefacts such as Blueprint documents, Functional Specifications, Test Scenarios, and Templates
- Guide the technical team from a functional perspective during solution development
- Drive new EWM initiatives, develop POCs, and define global templates aligned with standard processes
- Support change management, mock solution demos, and user adoption activities
EWM Functional Expertise Required
- Complete setup and configuration of:
- Wave Management
- Inventory Management
- Put away & Picking Strategies
- Direct Put away
- Automatic Replenishment
- Hands-on experience with:
- Deconsolidation
- Slotting
- Value Added Services (VAS)
- Voice Picking
- RF / Mobile Device setup and usage
- Advanced Cycle Counting
- Strong experience in Embedded EWM and Extended EWM
Required Skills & Experience
- 710 years of experience in SAP WM / SAP EWM
- Proven experience in WM to EWM migration projects
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP EWM configuration and design
- Experience in global EWM transformation or rollout projects
- Ability to work independently and drive complex initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent documentation and analytical skills
