SAP Enterprise Architect

The SAP MM/P2P consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions to meet business needs while ensuring seamless end-to-end integration. This role involves gathering and translating business requirements, configuring SAP systems, resolving complex issues, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.

You will lead testing, documentation, and user training, while proactively identifying opportunities for system improvements. Acting as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will drive operational excellence, support critical incidents, and deliver integrated, high-impact solutions across the SAP lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain SAP enterprise architecture frameworks aligned with business objectives

· Evaluate current SAP ecosystems and recommend scalable solutions or modernization paths

· Define integration, data, application, and security standards across business units

· Lead the architecture strategy for digital transformation, cloud migration, Gen AI related initiatives

· Collaborate with executive stakeholders to translate business goals into technical requirements

· Establish and enforce technology governance models and reference architectures

· Guide solution architects, developers, and infrastructure teams across projects

· Document architectural standards, models, and decision-making processes

· Monitor emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies where appropriate

· Team collaboration: Should be able to lead / mentor SAP team

Required Skills:

1. 10 to 12 years of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA Implementation experience for medium to large organization. Must have played the role of SAP Enterprise Architect for minimum 3+ years

2. Experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate,or similar tools)

3. Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or similar framework)

4. Hands on experience in design, development and deployment of below SAP modules / capabilities

· ABAP

· BASIS

· HANA

· PI/PO

· Fiori

· UI5

· SAP SAC / Power BI

· SAP Intelligent RPA

· SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

· SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

5. Good functional knowledge on the core functional modules of SAP

· Material Management (MM)

· Plant Maintenance (PM)

· Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO)

· Sales and Distribution (SD)

· Production Planning (PP)

· SAP Ariba commerce automation

6. Experience in design and implementation of core SAP modules for a medium to large organization

7. Ability to do model end to end process mapping in SAP for business requirements

8. Ability to recommend suitable business capability mapping

9. Ability to define enterprise strategic roadmap to organization in SAP

10. Experience in technical / functional advisory for complex production environment and the ability to drive and provide technical / functional solutions for any major incidents on the production platform

11. Good knowledge in latest SAP technical offerings like BTP, FIORI, SAP Intelligent RPA, GEN AI, UI5

12. Experience working on migration from S/4 HANA to Rise with SAP (cloud – brownfield / green field)

13. SAP Certified Professional - SAP Enterprise Architect

14. Effective Communication: Translate technical concepts for business users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

15. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with SAP teams, developers, and end-users, sharing knowledge and embracing feedback.

16. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field required

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

1. TOGAF certification (Foundation and/or Certified)

2. Additional certifications, such as AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL, or PMP, may be preferred depending on the environment

3. Deep hands on in latest SAP technical offerings like BTP, FIORI, GEN AI, UI5

4. Project management / team leading experience
