We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP EHS Professional to join our team in Bengaluru. This role offers a hybrid work mode, combining the flexibility of remote work with in-office collaboration. We are specifically looking for candidates who can join us on an immediate to 30-day (maximum) notice period.
As an SAP EHS Professional, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting robust SAP Environment, Health, and Safety solutions. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring product compliance, managing dangerous goods, hazardous substances, and integrating EHS processes across the logistics landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- S/4HANA Product Compliance: Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance solutions, including managing Specification database architecture, Specification authoring, Expert Rules configuration, and WWI (Windows Word Processor Integration) for document generation.
- SDS Management & Distribution: Oversee the end-to-end process of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management, including authoring, version control, and automated SDS distribution.
- EHS Data Management: Lead EHS data migration activities and manage compliance data effectively within the SAP system.
- Dangerous Goods Management: Design and implement solutions for Dangerous Goods Management, covering classification, master data, checks, and dangerous goods distribution processes.
- Logistics Integration: Possess strong integration knowledge with SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to ensure seamless dangerous goods and product compliance workflows.
- Hazardous Substance & SVT: Manage Hazardous Substance Management processes and configure Substance Volume Tracking (SVT) to ensure compliance with chemical regulations.
- Product Compliance for Articles: Implement and manage the Product Compliance discrete process for various articles, ensuring marketability and regulatory adherence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Apply in-depth expertise on various product compliance regulations and transport regulations (e.g., REACH, GHS, IMDG, ADR).
- Solution Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to optimize EHS processes and leverage SAP functionalities for enhanced efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of comprehensive experience in SAP EHS modules, with a strong focus on S/4HANA Product Compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related disciplines).
- Proven track record of successful SAP EHS implementations and support.
Mandatory Skills:
- SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance: Expert-level knowledge of S/4 Product Compliance functionalities, including Specification database architecture, Specification authoring, and Expert Rules.
- WWI (Windows Word Processor Integration): Proficiency in WWI for report and document generation (e.g., SDS, Labels).
- SDS Distribution: Hands-on experience with automated Safety Data Sheet (SDS) distribution processes.
- EHS Data Migration: Demonstrated experience in EHS data migration strategies and execution.
- Dangerous Goods Management: Strong expertise in SAP Dangerous Goods Management, including classification, master data, checks, and distribution processes.
- Logistics Integration: Solid understanding and practical experience with SAP EHS integration points to SAP TM and SAP EWM.
- Hazardous Substance Management: Knowledge and experience in managing hazardous substances within SAP EHS.
- Substance Volume Tracking (SVT): Experience in configuring and managing Substance Volume Tracking.
- Product Compliance Regulations: In-depth knowledge of various product compliance regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS) and transport regulations (e.g., ADR, RID, IMDG Code, DOT 49 CFR).
