SAP EHS Expert Chemical / Pharmaceutical Hybrid/ Pune - India

Amoria Bond is looking for a SAP EHS Consultant to support HSE operations by managing, evolving, and optimizing SAP EHS applications.

The consultant will work in an SAP S/4HANA environment, responsible for functional and technical support of EHS processes including Product Safety, SDS Authoring, Dangerous Goods Management, Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), SVHC, and Poison Control Notification (PCN). This role can be performed remotely or on-site depending on requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support SAP EHS applications, troubleshoot incidents and resolve system issues.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements in collaboration with IT teams and HSE experts.
• Write functional specifications for developments and validate customizations.
• Test, validate, and document SAP EHS enhancements and modifications.
• Support key processes: Product Safety, SDS Authoring & distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, Global Label Management, SVT, SVHC, PCN.
• Participate in SAP EHS projects as a team member or project lead, across all implementation phases.
• Work closely with business users and functional teams to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven hands-on experience in SAP EHS, including Product Safety, SVT, SVHC, PCN, and Expert Rules configuration.
• Knowledge of HSE processes and regulations in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA and basic understanding of SAP BW reporting.
• Experience with interfacing (IDocs, ALE) and basic software development concepts.
• Ability to write functional specifications, test, and document SAP EHS changes.
• Structured, rigorous approach, with a focus on quality and compliance.
