Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP E-Invoicing Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and electronic invoicing processes. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP e-invoicing solutions to ensure compliance with local statutory and tax regulations across different countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements related to electronic invoicing and statutory compliance.
- Configure and support SAP e-invoicing solutions.
- Integrate SAP with government portals, tax authorities, and third-party e-invoicing platforms.
- Support invoice generation, validation, transmission, and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to e-invoicing interfaces and integrations.
- Participate in project implementations, rollouts, and support activities.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments.
- Support testing, user training, and documentation activities.
Required Skills
SAP Functional Expertise
- Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI).
- Good understanding of:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Tax Configuration
- Billing and Invoice Processing
- Financial Document Flow
E-Invoicing Expertise
- Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) / eDocument Framework.
- Experience with country-specific e-invoicing regulations.
- Understanding of digital signatures, invoice validation, and tax reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of integration with government tax portals and third-party providers.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of IDocs, XML, APIs, and web services.
- Ability to work with SAP technical teams for interface development and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP debugging is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) implementation experience.
- Experience in global e-invoicing projects.
- SAP Certification in Finance is preferred.
