SAP Datasphere (DSP) Developer/Consultant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Datasphere Developer to design and implement end-to-end data warehousing and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for architecting data models, integrating multiple data sources (SAP and non-SAP), and ensuring high-performance data delivery for business intelligence tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling: Design and build graphical and SQL-based data models, including Fact Views, Dimensions, and Analytic Models within SAP Datasphere.
- Integration: Lead data ingestion from diverse sources (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SQL databases, and flat files) using Replication Flows, Data Flows, and Data Provisioning Agents.
- Architecture: Manage Spaces in Datasphere, ensuring proper resource allocation, security, and data access controls (DAC).
- Transformation: Implement complex business logic and calculations using the Data Builder and Business Builder layers.
- Governance: Manage metadata, data cataloging, and lineage to ensure data quality and transparency.
- Collaboration: Work with SAP Functional teams (FI, SD, MM) to translate business requirements into technical data models.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Core Experience: 3–7 years in SAP Data Warehousing (BW, BW/4HANA, or SAP HANA Native modeling).
- Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (DSP) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- SQL Skills: Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL scripts for ETL/ELT processes.
- Modern Features: Understanding of BW Bridge, Spaces Management, and Semantic Modeling.
- Integration Tools: Experience with SAP Cloud Connector and connecting cloud instances to on-premise SAP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in SAP Datasphere or SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) ecosystem.
- Experience with non-SAP BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
