Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Web Dynpro Java Developer with strong expertise in SAP NetWeaver and Enterprise Portal technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP Web Dynpro Java applications, along with integrating external web services and optimizing applications running on the AS Java stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP Web Dynpro Java applications for SAP Enterprise Portal.
- Create and enhance Web Dynpro components, views, controllers, and UI elements.
- Implement MVC architecture with efficient data binding between UI elements and backend systems.
- Define and manage data models, contexts, and nodes to ensure smooth data flow and manipulation.
- Integrate and consume external web services within Web Dynpro applications.
- Manage and monitor web service configurations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Web Dynpro applications running on the AS Java stack.
- Prepare technical design documents and provide support during UAT and production issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Web Dynpro Java development.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal, including classes and packages.
- Extensive experience with NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) based on Eclipse.
- Strong understanding and implementation of MVC architecture.
- Expertise in UI development using Web Dynpro components, views, and controllers.
- Proficiency in context mapping, data binding, and node creation.
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 Enterprise Portal.
- Proven experience in Web Service integration, configuration, and monitoring.
- Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.
