• SAP developers are expected to have the expert knowledge in SAP ABAP. Their primary responsibilities include designing, code changes and setting up the system as per the business requirements, developing and testing functionalities, processes set up and resolving technical or functional issues and fixing the defects.

Your key responsibilities

• You are involved in the whole Software Development Lifecycle starting from analyzing requirements, developing, deploying and testing deliverables as well as maintaining & improving it.
• Your primary focus will be on development and unit-testing activities including peer code reviews.
• Provide high-quality solutions that meet functional as well as non-functional requirements.
• Actively participate and contribute into the discussions on new requirement and process improvements with the stake holders.
• Ensure the smooth transition of the applications into production.
• Play critical role of Developer, SME, act as L2 support in clarifying production bug fixes
• Where applicable, discuss infrastructure changes with architects and choose best solution
• Understanding, Challenging, capturing, and articulating requirements according to the quality standards
• Understanding the delivery priorities as agreed with business/management team and other stakeholders
• Supports preparation, pre-requisites, feasibility studies towards creation of business cases outlining value drivers of proposed solutions for business clients in crucial projects
• Identify system defects and proactively recommend and fix solutions/resolutions
• Collaborate with BFA, Project Managers, users, architects to deliver robust solution

• Have demonstrated proficiency in working with global and local teams, managing vendors and/or 3rd parties
• Problem solving ability managing unexpected events

Your skills and experience

As SAP Developer you will bring:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in an IT-related discipline (or equivalent)
• At least 9+ years of experience in role for SAP Developer
• Should have development experience with SAP ABAP/ ABAP OO/SAP HANA
• Should have working experience in SAP Deposits Management or SAP Banking/SAP FS-BP Business Partner/SAP BA Bank Analyzer)
• Also an exposure in the area of handling production errors, bug fixes or incidents
• Experience with SAP Integration design and implementation of SAP Enterprise Services
• Experience to deliver artefacts as needed: high/low level designs, estimates
• conceptualize complex process flows and business flows
• Experience in stakeholder management like business units/users, infrastructure teams, audit, management, DEV/Testing teams
• Should be comfortable with agile/waterfall model, create user stories where applicable
• Experience in delivering projects in a challenging environment under tight timelines
• Awareness how cloud technology works will add value but not must
• Hands-on experience on tools like HP ALM, Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence
• Proven experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects and meeting timelines
• Pragmatic yet showing a high attention to details
