We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Delivery Manager with over 15 years of proven expertise in Delivery Management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of delivery processes, methodologies, and best practices, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage cross functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end to end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
- Develop and implement delivery strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all projects.
- Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage resource allocation and team dynamics to optimize performance and productivity.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive resolution of issues.
- Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and methodologies.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in all delivery activities.
Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Delivery Management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large scale projects in a fast paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing delivery in a technology or IT services environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in project management.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in Delivery Management or related roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and managing diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting in project delivery.
