SAP Datasphere / SAP BW/4HANA / SAC / Analysis for Office Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Developer with strong expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Analysis for Office (AFO) to design, develop, and deliver enterprise data models, analytics solutions, and reporting capabilities.

The role involves building end-to-end data pipelines, data models, and reporting to support business intelligence, financial reporting, and operational analytics across the organization.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field

Experience

5+ years SAP BW / SAP analytics experience

2+ years working with SAP Datasphere and SAC

Experience delivering enterprise analytics or data warehouse solutions

Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling & Data Engineering

Design and develop data models in SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT data flows, transformations, and pipelines.

Develop Composite Providers, Advanced DSOs (ADSOs), InfoObjects, and Open ODS Views in BW/4HANA.

Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and external sources.

Implement data virtualization and federation using SAP Datasphere.

Reporting & Analytics

Develop interactive dashboards and stories in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Create and maintain financial and operational reports using Analysis for Office (AFO).

Ensure reporting performance optimization and query tuning.

Integration & Architecture

Implement live and import connections between SAC and Datasphere/BW/4HANA.

Work with HANA Calculation Views and SQL views.

Support data integration using SDI, SDA, and replication flows.

Design scalable data architecture aligned with SAP's modern data stack.

Performance & Governance

Optimize BW queries and HANA models for performance.

Maintain data quality, metadata management, and lineage.

Collaboration

Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and functional teams.

Translate business requirements into technical analytics solutions.

Support UAT, deployments, and production support.
