Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
SAP Data Migration Lead to own and drive all data migration activities for a large-scale ERP transformation from Vista to SAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing migration governance, improving data quality, defining migration strategies, and ensuring the successful extraction, transformation, loading, and reconciliation of business-critical data into SAP.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and the System Integrator (SI) partner to ensure data readiness and a successful SAP go-live.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Migration, ERP Implementation, or Data Management roles.
- Proven experience leading data migration activities in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data structures.
- Hands-on experience with SAP migration tools such as LTMC, LTMOM, SAP Data Services (BODS), or equivalent.
- Experience conducting data quality assessments and leading remediation programs for complex source systems.
- Strong knowledge of ETL methodologies, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience creating migration strategies, governance frameworks, and stakeholder-facing documentation.
- Ability to manage and challenge System Integrators and third-party vendors constructively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact.
