This is more than just a job; it's a chance to be a foundational member of our growing Data & Analytics practice. As an SAP Data & Analytics Architect, you will be a key leader, shaping our technical direction, defining best practices, and mentoring a team of talented developers. You will take the technical lead on innovative projects, architecting and implementing cutting-edge solutions using SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data and analytics solutions, serving as a technical authority for SAP BDC, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Project Leadership: Lead project teams from a technical standpoint, ensuring the successful delivery of data warehousing, data modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions that meet client business requirements.
- Best Practices & Mentorship: Be instrumental in defining and documenting Mindset's best practices and architectural standards. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Hands-On Development: Engage in hands-on development, data modeling, and configuration within SAP Datasphere and SAC to build robust and scalable solutions.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with business and IT stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Data Integration: Architect and oversee the development of data integration solutions, with a strong focus on utilizing and building BW extractors (including generic extractors) and Operational Data Providers (OPDs) to source data from SAP systems.
- Pre-Sales Support: Act as a subject matter expert to support pre-sales activities, including solution design, effort estimation, and client presentations.
Required Skills & Experience (The Must-Haves)
- 5+ years of experience in SAP data and analytics.
- Proven hands-on experience architecting and implementing solutions with SAP Datasphere. This includes data modeling, data integration, and space management.
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This includes creating complex stories, dashboards, analytical applications, and experience with SAC Planning.
- Demonstrated experience as a technical lead on multiple end-to-end SAP data projects, with a track record of leading and mentoring development teams.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP BW extractors, including standard and complex generic extractors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications (The Nice-to-Haves)
- Hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA, including data modeling and system architecture.
- Experience with migrations from SAP BW to BW/4HANA and/or SAP Datasphere.
- Strong understanding of core S/4HANA or ECC modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM) and their underlying data structures.
- Proficiency in ABAP & ABAP CDS for developing extractors, ODPs, and BAdIs.
- Knowledge of SQL Script for developing calculation views and other HANA artifacts.
- Experience with other SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services.
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., Datasphere, SAC, BW/4HANA).
