Job Description - SAP CPI

 Position: SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration) Consultant

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Experience: 6+ Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP CPI, API integrations, and troubleshooting complex integration scenarios. The role involves building scalable integrations, providing production support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
  • Configure and implement REST, HTTP, and SOAP-based integrations with SAP and third-party applications.
  • Develop and manage API integrations using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0 authentication, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in production environments.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
  • Handle customer support activities, incident management, and service requests through ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather integration requirements.
  • Optimize integration performance and ensure high availability and reliability of integration solutions.
  • Participate in CI/CD implementation and automate deployment processes for integration artifacts.
  • Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and operational runbooks.
  • Support integration monitoring, alert management, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending best practices and process enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on SAP Integration technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP CPI.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration) including iFlow design, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth2, JSON configurations, and HTTP-based integrations
  • Experience in customer support, ticketing, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
  • Exposure to SAP Ariba/Signavio, CI/CD practices, scripting (Python/Groovy), and integration monitoring
  • Understanding of Process Mining, AI/LLM workflows, and strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
