We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI & SAP SuccessFactors Integration Consultant to design, develop, and support integration solutions across our HR, payroll, and enterprise systems. This role involves hands-on development in SAP CPI, strong expertise in SuccessFactors integrations, and endtoend involvement from requirements gathering through deployment and postgolive stabilization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as an SAP CPI Consultant working on interface development projects
- SAP CPI and/or SAP SuccessFactors certifications (preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI) and SAP SuccessFactors
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), gateways, middleware concepts, and integration patterns
- Hands-on proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Groovy scripting
- Experience working with integration adapters including:
- HTTP, SOAP, OData, SFTP, FTP, Mail, JMS, SuccessFactors
- Expertise in data formats: XML, JSON, CSV, EDI
- Experience developing secure and scalable web servicebased integrations
- Familiarity with SAP CPI best practices, standards, and new feature releases
- Strong understanding of HR and enterprise integration landscapes
Key Responsibilities
Process & Business Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather and validate integration requirements
- Analyze business processes and document workflows, process diagrams, and integration designs (GSM)
- Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications
- Support ongoing process and system improvement initiatives
Integration Development
- Design, develop, configure, and implement SAP CPI integration solutions
- Build and maintain iFlows, mappings, adapters, and CPI configurations
- Implement custom interface solutions using various communication protocols
- Develop secure web servicebased integrations
- Perform message mapping and transformations using CPI Message Mapping and XSLT
- Use Groovy and Java for custom logic, validations, and enhancements
- Handle data conversions across XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, senior developers, and business analysts
- Stay current on SAP CPI updates, best practices, and emerging trends
SAP SuccessFactors Integration Expertise
- Build integrations for key SuccessFactors modules including:
- Employee Central (EC)
- Performance Management
- Learning Management
- Work with major SuccessFactors APIs:
- Compound Employee API (SFAPI)
- SuccessFactors OData APIs
- Support complex EC employment scenarios:
- Transfers
- Global Assignments
- Concurrent Employment
- Develop inbound integrations for EC and Employee Profile
- Manage EC organizational structure integrations
- Integrate SuccessFactors with HRIS, payroll, time, and recruiting systems
Testing & & Quality Assurance
- Support and participate in Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios
- Identify, track, and resolve integration defects
- Validate endtoend integration flows for accuracy and stability
Deployment & Production Support
- Coordinate deployment activities across client and target systems
- Support cutover, golive, and postgolive stabilization
- Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis
- Implement corrective actions to ensure long-term system health
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Document technical specifications, integration designs, mappings, and configurations
- Maintain integration knowledge repositories and technical documentation
Provide guidance to operations and support teams for troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance
