Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work on development projects within SAP BTP, focusing on cloud-based ABAP environments
- Utilize SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and ABAP Environment for application development
- Set up and manage BTP sub-accounts, destinations, and cloud connectors
- Develop applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and Fiori programming model
- Design and implement CDS views and expose them as OData services
- Perform CRUD operations using OData and test APIs using tools like Postman
- Leverage core ABAP knowledge to handle RICEFW objects
- Integrate with external systems and explore APIs via SAP API Business Hub
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders for requirement gathering and testing
- Ensure best practices in SAP BTP development and follow modern DevOps principles
Mandatory Skills:
- Basic understanding of BTP Global Account, Sub-Accounts, and overall architecture
- Experience with BTP Development tools such as BAS and ABAP Environment
- Cloud Connector and Destination setup knowledge
- ABAP on Cloud and Fiori Programming Model
- RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
- ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP)
- OData Service Development (CRUD operations)
- Converting CDS Views to OData Services
- Strong in Core ABAP (RICEFW)
