SAP CPI Developer

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Integration Developer to design, build, and support cloud integration solutions on SAP BTP Integration Suite. The role covers the full integration lifecycle, from requirements analysis and iFlow development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications
• Design, build, test, and deploy integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI / BTP Integration Suite
• Configure and manage adapters including REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, and SFTP
• Implement data transformations using graphical mapping, XSLT mapping, Java mapping, and Groovy scripting
• Develop custom adapters, User Defined Functions (UDFs), and value lookups as needed
• Apply integration best practices, architectural guidelines, and security standards (OAuth, SAML, SSL, encryption/decryption, certificate handling)
• Prepare technical documentation for integration designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
• Perform unit testing and support SIT and UAT cycles

Monitoring, Support, and Optimization

• Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance
• Proactively identify and resolve integration errors, issues, and bottlenecks
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integrations
• Optimize iFlows for efficiency, scalability, and performance
• Implement error handling, logging, and exception management mechanisms

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years in SAP integration, with a focus on cloud environments and full-lifecycle implementations
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP CPI / BTP Integration Suite
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting, XSLT, Java mapping, and graphical mapping
• Solid understanding of API integration (RESTful / SOAP) and microservices architecture
• Working knowledge of integration security (OAuth, SAML, certificates, PGP encryption)
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL scripting (SQL Server preferred)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)

Good to Have

• SAP SuccessFactors integration experience
• SAP PI/PO background, especially migration from PI/PO to CPI
• SAP API Management, Event Mesh, or Open Connectors exposure
