SAP CPI Consultant

Location: Ernakulam, Kerala

Experience: 4–5 Years

Primary Skills: SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary : 15 LPA

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Consultant to join our integration team in Ernakulam. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP, and integrating SAP and non-SAP applications.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-to-end integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions using SAP CPI.
  • Develop and maintain integration scenarios between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Configure and implement integrations involving SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and third-party systems.
  • Develop integration flows using OData, SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, HTTP, SFTP, and other integration protocols.
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, message routing, and exception handling.
  • Develop and troubleshoot integration scenarios using Groovy scripting and XSLT.
  • Work with XML and JSON data formats.
  • Implement and manage integrations through SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI.
  • Work with API Management and integration-related security mechanisms.
  • Monitor integration flows and proactively troubleshoot failures and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, functional consultants, and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for integration-related issues.
  • Deploy, maintain, and support integration flows across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Stay current with SAP integration technologies, tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • 4–5 years of experience in SAP Integration Middleware, with strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI and PI/PO.
  • Minimum 1–2 implementation projects as an SAP CPI Developer/Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
  • Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC with SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • OData
  • SOAP
  • REST APIs
  • IDoc
  • RFC
  • HTTP/HTTPS
  • SFTP
  • Strong understanding of XML and JSON.
  • Good programming/scripting knowledge in Groovy and XSLT.
  • Experience in data mapping, transformation, routing, exception handling, and API Management.
  • Knowledge of web security standards such as OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, Certificate-based Authentication, and PGP.
  • Experience with SAP BTP / Integration Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

SAP Integration Experience

Hands-on experience with integrations involving one or more of the following will be highly valuable:

  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP ECC
  • SAP SuccessFactors
  • SAP Ariba
  • SAP Concur
  • Third-party applications
  • SAP and non-SAP cloud applications

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Understanding of SAP functional processes.
  • Knowledge of Java and/or ABAP programming.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors–CPI integrations.
  • Exposure to e-Invoicing integrations.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining SAP PI/PO integration flows using NWDS.
  • Understanding of ISMS principles and best practices.
  • Experience with additional SAP cloud applications and integration scenarios.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally, based on project requirements.
